Geoffrey Cahrles Ryman (ur. w 1951) brytyjski pisarz science fiction i fantasy. Urodził się w Kanadzie. W wieku lat 11 przeniósł się z rodzicami do Stanów Zjednoczonych, gdzie studiował historię i anglistykę na Uniwersytecie Kalifornijskim w Los Angeles. Mieszka ponownie w Anglii. Zdobywca nagrody im. Arthura C. Clarke'a za powieści Air i The Child Garden.
