David John Wolverton ur. w Springfield w Oregonie (1957) amerykański autor science fiction. Pisząc powieści fantasy używa pseudonimu David Farland. Jest mormonem.
Dave Wolverton zaczął pisać w szkole i wszedł opowiadań w różnych konkursach. Jego kariera rozpoczęła się w 1987 roku, gdy zdobył główną nagrodę w L. Ron Hubbard " Writers przyszłego "konkursu.
