Mark Chadbourn ur. w 1960 roku brytyjski pisarz fantasy. Urodzony w rodzinie górniczej, studiował historię, pracował jako dziennikarz, dla czołowych brytyjskich czasopism, jak The Times czy Marie Claire. Jako pisarz zadebiutował w 1990 roku, jego opowiadanie wygrało konkurs magazynu Fear i przyciągnęło uwagę agentów. Jego powieści były wielokrotnie nominowane do brytyjskich nagród Derleth, dwukrotnie wygrał British Fantasy Award.
