Norman Richard Spinrad (ur. 15 września 1940), amerykański pisarz science fiction.

Urodził się w Nowym Jorku. W 1957 rozpoczął naukę w City College of New York. Ukończył ją w roku 1961. W 1966 przeprowadził się do San Francisco. Obecnie mieszka w Los Angeles.

Jego twórczość była nominowana do Hugo Award i wielokrotnie do Nebula Award.

Najsłynniejsze powieści to napisana slangiem, obrazoburcza Bug Jack Barron (wycofane I wydanie w Anglii z nakazu sądu) i alternatywna historia The Iron Man.
